Melanie Hopkins, also known by her Eskimo names Nunmak and Kulluq translating to thunder and mother packing a baby, is an Inuit artist from Inuvik, Northwest Territories who now lives on Snuneymuxw territory on Vancouver Island. She’s been creating art since she could hold a pencil and is currently aspiring to be a tattoo artist. More of her art can be found on Instagram @inuk_ink.
